Gortons Seafood
Gorton’s is a trusted seafood brand known for its rich heritage and commitment to quality. With a focus on making seafood accessible, Gorton’s offers a wide range of convenient, delicious, and responsibly sourced frozen seafood products. Their website reflects this mission, featuring an intuitive user experience that allows customers to explore products, discover recipes, and learn about sustainable practices. The site balances visual appeal with functionality, catering to a modern audience seeking quick meal solutions without compromising on flavor or sustainability.
Ideation
Through user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, we gathered insights into user needs, behaviors, and pain points. Competitive analysis helped identify industry best practices. I created wireframes test and refine concepts, using an iterative approach to improve usability. All based around stakeholder workshops identifying the key goals of the website, creating a user friendly site structure.
Design
We worked closely with the stakeholders to create a modern and bold design system for the brand in order to reintroduce Gortons for a modern audience. Utilising a dynamic layout and visual style to showcase both it’s products and the rich heritage information.
